‘He’s such a nice young man and I’ve loved helping him out.’

Ann’s been hosting Tyler for a few months now and she’s loving it.

Tyler’s has his full-time employment contract with Taziker and he’s now ready to get his own place. He’s saved his deposit and got his reference so he’s on the lookout for his own place.

But Ann has loved having him around. Ann hadn’t had a lodger before but she felt reassured Standing Tall would be there by her side along the way.

‘Tyler’s been no trouble at all. He’s a determined young man and I’ve so enjoyed seeing him find his feet,’ Ann tells us. Ann’s enjoyed the company and the extra money each month has helped her with everything being more expensive now.

Ann explains, ‘We’ve really got on well together. He’ll stay here with me for 6 months and then he’ll find his own place. That’s what this is all about. Staying with me has been a stepping stone for him to get his own place. Once he’s got his own flat, I’ve already told Standing Tall I’d love to welcome a new person in’.
